Have you ever had one of those classes that you just fell in love with? I mean really! This year I had an absolutely wonderful class. The almost mythical kind every teacher dreams of. First of all it was small. I started the year with 18 kiddos but by the end I was down to 15. ( I didn't just lose 3 it actually worked itself out this way 18 + 1 - 1 -1 + 1 - 1 -1 -1 + 1) I had 3rd graders who absolutely LOVED school, they LOVED to learn, and they LOVED their teacher! :) I could do just about anything and they would eat it up. As I began this year's ABC Countdown I got more and more sad with each passing day knowing that I would have to say good-bye to an awesome bunch of kiddos. I hope that my next crop of kiddos will live up to the joy and laughter this group brought me each day.
