TPT Seller Challenge...Dare to Dream

I am so excited to participate in the second week of the TPT Seller Challenge: Dare to Dream! This week, the challenge asked us to think about our dreams, and to dream BIG. So I am linking up withSparking in Second, Peppy Zesty Teacherista, Third in Hollywood, and Teach Create Motivate to share the dreams I hope to accomplish through blogging and TPT.

1. I have already written a great deal of curriculum for my district. It is something that I have always been passionate about for a while. In fact I'm hoping to go back to school at some point and get a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Why not get more practice by making things for myself and other teachers to use.

2. I started my blogging journey about a year ago and my Teachers Pay Teaches (TPT) store a few months after that. What I have learned to love about this community of bloggers is being able to share ideas, resources, stories and more across the world! I love getting ideas from other teachers, and sharing my little bit of the world with others as well. I even talked with my students this year about knowing ( sort of) people from across the world and sharing stories about them during my lessons.

3. This goes along with my dream from above. I sooooo want to go to the Teachers Pay Teachers conference in Vegas. Last summer when I was looking at all the fun everyone was having I was totally jealous to not be part of meeting all these wonderful bloggers I was getting to know. This year I just chickened out. But not next year! If I speak it into existence it will be. I'm going to the TPT meet up next summer!

4. Who doesn't want to be financially free? To be able to purchase things for the classroom without feeling guilt, to be able to save, and to be able to give back in the community. These are things that I'd like to accomplish through TPT.

5.  I do not take many vacations or much time for myself. If I'm not teaching in my classroom, I'm tutoring, or teaching Saturday school, or summer school, or curriculum writing for my school district. Eeeek! That's a lot of work. I don't take much opportunity to travel. So I decided that I would make time to do that. A friend sent me information about a yoga festival that she insists that I go to with her. I work hard and I deserve it! I told her that if she mapped out the details I would be there with bells on! It would be AMAZING if I could finance this trip solely with money I earn from my TPT store. I am planning to add A LOT of things to my store that I finished throughout the year and just haven't gotten around to publishing. Hopefully they will help make my dream come true.
